firmware releases

A steady flow of ideas and feature requests are coming to us from customers, carriers and other partners putting Junxion solutions to use in real-world applications. As a result, the Junxion Box cellular router and Field Commander remote management are evolving rapidly.

We've posted this page to help you stay informed about major releases and minor updates to the Junxion firmware.

Should I Update?

Major updates to the Junxion firmware are published several times a year. Our most recent major release was version 1.5. If you're not running version 1.5 on your Junxion Box, we encourage you to update your Junxion Box(es) now.

Minor updates are published as needed to support new data cards and provide stability improvements to the firmware.

Remotely Update Firmware

- Junxion's Field Commander remote management can be used to update the Junxion firmware of single units or fleets of thousands
- Easier than downloading/updating, automatic updates can be scheduled
- Hosted Field Commander is easy to set up, and is available at no cost for all existing and new Junxion Box cellular routers
